Ziflite MCP Docs
Install Ziflite MCP correctly.
Set up the Free/Core plugin first, then add Pro on top when needed. No MCP license key or activation server is required.
Before you begin
- Use a WordPress Administrator account.
- Keep a recent backup of the site.
- Make sure the site is reachable over HTTPS.
- Use the current ZIP supplied by Ziflite Studio.
Install Ziflite MCP Free
- Open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- Select the Ziflite MCP Free ZIP file.
- Click Install Now.
- When WordPress finishes, click Activate Plugin.
- Open Ziflite MCP from the WordPress dashboard.
Free is the core plugin. Keep it installed even if you later upgrade to Pro.
Install Ziflite MCP Pro
Ziflite MCP Pro is a separate add-on. It extends the Free/Core plugin rather than replacing it.
- Purchase Ziflite MCP Pro from Ziflite Studio.
- Download the Pro ZIP from your completed order or My Account.
- Confirm Ziflite MCP Free/Core is installed and active.
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- Upload the Pro ZIP and activate it.
- Open Ziflite MCP and refresh the capability report.
No license activation: Pro functionality comes from having the Pro add-on installed and active.
After installation
- Review the readiness and capability report.
- Confirm the MCP endpoint shown by the plugin.
- Connect a compatible MCP client.
- Start with inspection/read tasks before approving write operations.
Updating and removing
Keep a backup before manual ZIP replacement. When updating Pro, keep Free/Core active unless release notes explicitly say otherwise. If you want to return to Free, deactivate the Pro add-on. Removing Ziflite MCP does not remove ZifChat or alter ZifChat licensing.
